Iowa-based general contractor Woodruff Construction has served the community for over six decades. Having outgrown their current Ames location, Woodruff teamed up with 10Fold to plan and design their vision for their new space. The new 11,670 SF pre-engineered metal building is expected to open at the end of 2025 and will allow for future expansion, enabling current and future employees to thrive as the company continues to grow.
Woodruff, who specializes in self-performed carpentry, steel, and concrete construction, will build the facility. The new office design honors Woodruff’s culture and expertise by incorporating all three materials. It also supports employee well-being by emphasizing a connection to nature, with a welcoming front patio extending the break room outdoors and a window arrangement that maximizes views of the adjacent forest and lake throughout the building. The office layout encourages collaboration and spontaneous interactions among teammates, fostering an environment where ideas can be freely exchanged.
