Iowa-based general contractor Woodruff Construction has served the community for over six decades. Having outgrown their current Ames location, Woodruff teamed up with 10Fold to plan and design their vision for their new office. The new 11,670 SF pre-engineered metal building will allow for future expansion, enabling current and future employees to thrive as the company continues to grow.

Known for their self-performed carpentry, steel, and concrete work, Woodruff’s new office celebrates their expertise and culture through the use of these three materials throughout the space. The design also supports employee well-being by emphasizing a connection to nature, with a breakroom that opens directly to a welcoming front patio and windows that maximize views of the adjacent forest and lake. The office layout encourages collaboration and spontaneous interactions among teammates, fostering an environment where ideas can be freely exchanged.
