Sixty Forward Center

The Sixty Forward Center is changing the vision on aging through a partnership between Heartland Senior Services, Mary Greeley Medical Center, and the City of Ames Department of Parks and Recreation. The driving mission of this Center is to enrich and support the health and quality of life for the community’s aging population. The Center will offer a host of programs that promote physical activity, social networks, and health and nutrition.

Upon entry, the expansive commons space provides a social hub that links together some of the Center’s key spaces: the state-of-the-art cardio and fitness classrooms, hobby hub, multi-purpose rooms, bistro, and duckpin bowling. Additionally, the Center houses administrative offices as well as an adult day center.
