Imagine the possibilities of a building and then multiply it ten times. Delivering beyond the expected is how 10Fold Architecture and Engineering approaches every project.

Saydel District-Wide Additions and Renovations

The 2021 District-Wide Additions and Renovations projects at Saydel Community School District accomplish a number of district master plan goals such as adding academic programming space to all three schools, renovating dated classrooms to support 21st century teaching methods, and increasing overall safety and security across the district.

Cornell Elementary
The elementary school will receive a new four-classroom and activity room addition, as well as renovate all Kindergarten through 2nd grade classrooms and activity spaces. The media center will be moved to a more central location within the building and expanded, while the cafeteria will be renovated for better acoustics and natural daylight.

Woodside Middle School
The middle school will receive a new safe secure entrance and administrative addition to the front of the school, as well as two classroom additions for added program space. The music classrooms and behavioral special needs suite will be completely renovated. Lastly, a new bus drop-off loop will be added to the building site for improved efficiency and safety at pick-up and drop-off times during the school day.

Saydel High School
The high school adds two math classrooms, a new performing arts wing, and auditorium backstage additions. Renovations include improvements to the auditorium, interior expansion of the media center and cafeteria commons, guidance office and alternative programs renovations, and multipurpose classroom and locker room renovations.

The projects make up approximately 2/3rds of the scope of work that was identified in a 2015 master plan. The project is funded by a $22.9 million bond referendum that was passed in September of 2020.
