Imagine the possibilities of a building and then multiply it ten times. Delivering beyond the expected is how 10Fold Architecture and Engineering approaches every project.

Ames CSD Bus Maintenance Facility

This simple yet thoughtfully designed facility provided the Ames CSD with a new building to service its fleet of buses and accommodate maintenance, inspection, fleet management, and storage needs. The layout provided for an efficient, seamless flow of vehicles and equipment, all consolidated into one facility. To maximize square footage and minimize building costs, a pre-engineered steel building type was selected. Significant consideration was given to the unimpeded flow of vehicles into and out of the building, while providing strategically placed storage throughout. Management offices are also included in the facility, allowing staff to monitor and command the movement of the bus and maintenance fleet as well as oversee the maintenance the needs of the district’s multiple buildings.
