Melissa Goodwin is a licensed architect with over 5 years of experience. At 10Fold, she brings expertise in additions and renovation projects, primarily in the K-12 education sector. Her professional journey includes roles as a technical drafter and project manager, with specialized experience in designing for older masonry buildings and roofing systems. This background has fostered her proficiency and interest in working with brick and masonry materials.
Melissa enjoys the problem-solving aspect of her work, approaching design challenges with creativity and a commitment to continuous learning. She believes in listening to clients’ needs and translating their vision into a three-dimensional space.
Licensed in Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri, Melissa also holds a Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certification from the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) certificate. She is an active member of CSI and the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and serves on the City of Ames Historical Preservation Commission.
