Amber’s goal as an interior designer is to deliver the highest quality product for each client by using a detail-oriented approach, her organizational skills, and a collaboration mindset when working with the project team. Participating in space planning, finish selections, and all parts of the documentation set are some of the ways she enjoys contributing to a project.

Not only is Amber a team player, but she is motivated to work alongside others to better her skills and gain more experience within the various design sectors. She is eager bring a holistic perspective to every project and develop an expertise in inclusive design, sustainability, and WELL Building Standards. She finds the most rewarding part of her position as a designer is the ability to create environments that promote and support the health, wellness, and overall well-being of each individual user.

Amber enjoys working alongside the client at every step of the project, to be their advocate and to guide them to the best possible design by collaborating with others and pulling from her past experiences and skills.

Amber looks forward to finding new ways to contribute to the design community and getting involved in Ames as a recent graduate. Outside of her work-life, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on walks around town, traveling, and taking care of her Great Dane, Holland.
