Intern Architect
Though Jeff has only been in the architectural field for a few years, he has already had the opportunity to work on a wide scope of projects ranging from cabins to high-rises. His professional experience includes a 10-story hotel renovation, a camping resort, a 300+ unit apartment building, a 12-story high-rise, a major high school renovation and addition, an industrial plant locker room renovation, and a gas station chain remodel.
His strengths lie in using modern technology to visualize design concepts and to develop detailed, integrated sets of construction documents. Jeff loves seeing his work and documentation come to life. Even better, he enjoys witnessing the same delight in clients as they see their completed projects.
Jeff believes good architecture is about functional and psychological performance. A building should meet the client’s and occupants’ practical needs, but it should do so in a way that positively impacts their mindset. Accomplishing this requires strong communication with the client and humble collaboration as a team.
Outside of work, Jeff and his wife Julie enjoy building relationships with friends, playing board games, kayaking, hiking and camping. He also has a few other nerdy interests (Star Wars or Marvel, anyone?)
